This policy explains what information Call1v1 (“we”, “us”) handles when you use call1v1.com and the Call1v1 web app, why we need it, and the choices you have. By using Call1v1 you agree to this policy.
What we collect
Account information
When you start, we create a guest account with an identifier so we can connect your calls. If you later sign in with an email address or a Google account, we keep that email and basic profile details you choose to add, such as a display name, photo, gender, country and bio.
Calls and messages
To connect a call, your camera and/or microphone stream is transmitted to the other person through our call infrastructure. We keep records about calls — who was on the call, when and for how long — and the messages you send in the app. We may review call content, including still images, and messages when that’s needed to keep the service safe, for example when a call or user is reported.
Purchases
If you buy coins, the payment is handled by our payment providers. We receive confirmation of the purchase and the amount, not your full card number.
Device and usage data
Like most websites, we collect technical information such as your IP address, browser, device type, language and the pages and features you use. We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember settings and measure how the site is used — see our Cookie Policy.
How we use it
- to run the service: match you, connect calls, deliver messages and keep your account working;
- to process purchases and keep your coin balance accurate;
- to keep Call1v1 safe: handle reports, enforce our Terms, and prevent fraud and abuse;
- to understand and improve the product;
- to meet legal obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Other users see your public profile and what you show them on a call. We share information with service providers who help us run Call1v1 (hosting, call delivery, payments, analytics), only as needed for that work. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the safety of our users and others.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is active, and other records for as long as we need them for the purposes above — for example, for safety investigations or legal and accounting requirements — and then delete or anonymise them.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile details in the app at any time.
- You can block other users so they can’t contact you.
- You can control camera and microphone permissions in your browser settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses. You can ask us to do so through our contact options.
Adults only
Call1v1 is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Using Call1v1 after an update means you accept the new version.
