Call1v1 runs in your browser, so it relies on cookies and similar browser storage to work. This page explains what we store and why. For everything else about your information, see our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage and similar technologies do the same job in a slightly different way. We use “cookies” on this page to mean all of them.
What we use them for
Essential
These keep the service working: they keep you signed in (including your guest account), remember that you’re in the middle of a call, protect against fraud, and keep your settings. Without them Call1v1 can’t run, so they can’t be switched off inside the site.
Preferences
These remember choices such as your language and whether you’ve already seen a tip or prompt, so we don’t ask again.
Analytics
These help us understand how the site is used — which pages people visit, where calls fail to connect, how long pages take to load — so we can fix problems and improve the product. We may use analytics providers such as Google Analytics for this, which may set their own cookies.
Payments
When you buy coins, our payment providers may set cookies on their own pages to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.
We don’t use cookies to sell your information.
How to control them
You can see, block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings — usually under Privacy or Site settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop Call1v1 from working, and clearing them signs you out. If you’re using a guest account without an email address, clearing your browser data may mean you can’t get back into that account.
Changes
If we change how we use cookies, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
