Community Guidelines

Every call is between two people who have just met. These rules are what make that work — for you and for them.

At a glance

  • 18+ only — never bring a minor onto a call.
  • Respect people from every country and background.
  • Never ask anyone for money, gifts or payment details.
  • Don’t record or share someone’s call without their permission.

Every call on Call1v1 is between two people who have just met. These guidelines are what make that work. They apply to everything you do here — on video, on voice, in messages and on your profile — and they sit alongside our Terms of Service.

The short version

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Treat the other person the way you’d want to be treated on camera.
  • Nothing sexual, violent or hateful that the other person hasn’t clearly agreed to — and nothing illegal, ever.
  • No money requests, scams or advertising.
  • Don’t record or share anyone’s call.
  • If someone breaks these rules: hang up, then report them.

Adults only

Call1v1 is for people aged 18 and over. Don’t use the service if you are younger, and never bring a minor onto a call — not in the frame, not in the background. If you meet someone who looks or sounds under 18, end the call and report them. We close accounts that belong to minors and accounts that involve minors in any way.

Respect on a call

You’ll meet people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds. Not allowed:

  • insults, threats, bullying or deliberately humiliating someone;
  • hate based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability;
  • continuing to contact someone who has made it clear they don’t want to talk to you;
  • trying to get around a block, for example with a new account.

Hanging up is always fine. Nobody owes anyone a conversation, and nobody should be punished for ending one.

What not to show

  • nudity or sexual acts shown to someone who hasn’t clearly agreed to see them — and never at the start of a call;
  • violence, self-harm, weapons used to threaten, or drugs being used or sold;
  • anything involving a minor;
  • other people who are on camera without knowing it.

Money, scams and spam

Don’t ask anyone for money, gifts, gift cards, crypto or payment details, and don’t ask them to pay you outside Call1v1. Don’t advertise, promote other sites or apps, or push people to move the conversation somewhere else so you can sell to them. If someone does this to you, treat it as a scam: hang up and report them.

Privacy of others

Don’t record, screenshot or stream someone’s call without their permission, and never post it anywhere. The only exception is evidence you send to us in a report. Don’t share other people’s personal details — their name, address, workplace or social accounts — on a call or anywhere else.

Honest profiles

Use your own photos. Don’t pretend to be another person, a celebrity or a member of Call1v1 staff, and don’t run several accounts to get extra free matches or to get around a ban. Bots and automated tools are not allowed.

How to report

Open the person’s profile (you can find anyone you’ve talked to in your call history), choose Report, pick the reason and add a screenshot if you have one. Blocking them as well stops them from reaching you. Our Safety Center walks through it step by step.

What happens when someone breaks the rules

We look at reports and the information connected to them. Depending on how serious it is, we may warn the person, limit what they can do, suspend the account or close it permanently — without refunding unused coins when the account is closed for breaking these rules. Where someone may be in danger, or the law requires it, we may also pass information to the authorities.

We can’t tell you the outcome of every report. If you think we got a decision about your own account wrong, you can ask us to look again through the contact options.
