Who picks up
Faces you might meet on a video call
A few of the women you might meet on a girl video call here. Random matching means it could be any of them, or someone new — or browse who’s online and call one directly.
Lots of people come to Call1v1 for a video call with a girl: a real face-to-face conversation with a woman they haven’t met, without joining a crowded room first. Tap Start and you’re matched at random with someone who’s free right now, so every call is a bit of a surprise. Prefer to choose? Open the online list, see who’s available, and call one of them directly.
If you’ve tried video chat with strangers before, you know the usual version: a crowded site, a skip button, and a lot of nothing. Call1v1 keeps the part that makes it fun — meeting someone you’d never have met otherwise — and drops the crowd. One stranger, one call, and you both decide whether it’s worth staying on. Curious how the matching itself works? Read about our random video call.
It works both ways. The other person can hang up just as easily as you can. The calls that go well are usually the relaxed ones — decent light, a friendly hello, and a question that isn’t “where are you from?” for the tenth time.
Several of the women pictured above speak Spanish, so a simple “hola” makes a nice opener. And if a call doesn’t click, no awkward goodbye is needed: end it, and you’re one tap away from the next 1v1 video call with someone new. More openers in our guide on how to talk to a girl on a video call.
1 on 1 video call, explained
Everything people ask before their first 1v1 call
Straight answers about how a one-on-one call works here — what you can choose, what stays private, and what it costs.
What is a 1v1 video call?
A 1v1 video call is a call with exactly two people: you and one other person. There’s no room full of usernames and nobody watching. On Call1v1 every call is one on one, so all of the other person’s attention is on the conversation — and so is yours.
How does the matching work?
Tap Start and Call1v1 finds someone who’s free right now and connects the two of you. It’s a random video call, which is the fun of it: you don’t scroll through profiles first. If the call isn’t clicking, hang up and match again in a second.
Can I choose who I call?
Yes, two ways. Random matching picks someone for you, or you can open the online list, look through who’s available, and start a 1 on 1 video call with that person directly from their profile.
Can I keep my camera off?
Yes. Choose a voice match and only your microphone is used. On a video call you can also switch your camera off at any point, and you can flip between the front and back camera on a phone.
Is a one on one video call private?
The call is between the two of you only — it isn’t broadcast to an audience or a group. That said, the other person is a stranger: keep personal details like your address, workplace and social accounts to yourself.
What can I do during a call?
Switch your camera off and back on, flip between the front and back camera on a phone, tap Follow if you’d like to talk again, or hang up and match with the next person. You stay in control of a private 1v1 video call from start to finish.

1v1 vs group rooms
Why a 1v1 call beats a crowded video room
Group video rooms are great for hanging out. A 1v1 call is for actually talking to someone.

Phone, tablet or computer
No app download, no phone number, no WhatsApp
Call1v1 runs in your browser, so a 1 on 1 video call works on the device you’re already holding.
iPhone & iPad
Open call1v1.com in Safari or Chrome. Want it like an app? Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Android
Open it in Chrome and use the install prompt, or Add to Home screen from the menu, for a one-tap icon.
Desktop & laptop
Any recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari with a webcam. For a voice call, a microphone is enough.
Why you won’t need her number
Plenty of people search for a WhatsApp video call with a girl, or a number to call. Here nobody swaps numbers: the call happens on the site, and you follow someone to call them again. That keeps your phone number — and hers — out of it. If anyone asks you to move to another app or pay outside the site, that’s a good moment to hang up.
Video chat with strangers, safely
Hang up, report or block — any time
Talking to strangers on video is safest when you stay in control, and here you always are. You’re never stuck on a call: end it whenever you want, and deal with anyone rude from their profile. A few habits help too: keep personal details off the call, and never send money to someone you’ve just met. Safety Center
18+ only. Your call history lists everyone you’ve talked to, so you can always find their profile afterwards.
Report
Open their profile, pick a reason, add a screenshot if you have one, and send.
Block
Blocked people can’t reach you. Change your mind? Unblock them in Settings.
Follow
The flip side: keep the people you enjoyed talking to and call them back.
Guides
Before you call: guides from the Call1v1 blog
Short, honest reads on making a 1v1 call go well — and what it really costs.
Call1v1 is a 1v1 video call site. You tap Start and you’re matched with one person for a private one-on-one call, on video or on voice. It runs in your browser, so there’s nothing to install. You may also see it written as Call 1v1, 1v1 Call or Call1-1 — it’s the same site, at call1v1.com.
Do I need to sign up to make a 1v1 call?
No. There’s no sign-up form: a guest account is set up for you in the background, so your first call is one tap away. You can add an email later if you want to keep your account.
Is Call1v1 free?
It’s free to start. New users get free matches to try it out, with no card needed. After that, calls use coins, which you can top up whenever you like. There’s no subscription required to keep calling.
Do I need WhatsApp or a phone number to make a call?
No. Calls happen right on Call1v1, in your browser, so nobody has to share a phone number or WhatsApp. To talk to the same person again, follow them and call from their profile when they’re online.
Can I call the same person again?
Yes. Tap Follow during or after the call. People you follow are easy to find again, and when they’re online you can call them straight from their profile.
What happens when I hang up?
The call ends for both of you, and you can start a new match right away. Nobody is owed an explanation for moving on.
Is it safe to video chat with strangers on Call1v1?
Every call is just the two of you, and you can hang up the moment something feels off. If someone is rude or pushy, report or block them from their profile. The rest is on you: keep your full name, address, workplace and social accounts off the call, never send money to someone you’ve just met, and don’t move to another app because a stranger asks.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Call1v1 works in Safari and Chrome on iPhone and Android, and in any modern desktop browser. Allow camera and microphone access when asked; for voice calls only the microphone is needed.
Is there a Call1v1 app?
You don’t need one from an app store. Open call1v1.com on your phone and add it to your home screen; it then opens full-screen with its own icon, just like an app.
My camera or microphone isn’t working. What do I do?
Your browser asks for permission the first time you call. If you tapped Block by mistake, open your browser’s site settings for call1v1.com, allow the camera and microphone, and reload. Closing other apps or tabs that are using the camera also helps.
Who can use Call1v1?
Adults only — you must be 18 or older. If someone on a call seems underage or behaves badly, end the call and report them from their profile.
Your next 1v1 call is one tap away
No download, no sign-up form. Video or voice — one person at a time.
